  1. I’m also obsessed with preserved egg- it’s just so good. I’ve even got my white husband hooked on it, haha. I wish that more people were open to talking about finance. Unfortunately, what I’ve found is that most people have a different mentality when it comes to savings. I’m a huge proponent of having at least a $1,000 in your rainy day fund buuttt some people have told me they feel that’s excessive. *sigh, can’t win them all

    1. Yay! I love that your hubby is hooked on preserved egg!! More people need to be introduced to it 😀

I can’t believe people find $1000 for a rainy day fund to be excessive! There are plenty of things that can land someone in the hospital that could cost more than that! I guess it’s easy to feel “safe” from those things because we’re younger, but you seriously never know what could happen!

  2. Hi Jing, what a beautiful space you have here. 🙂

I try to write something like a refinery29 money diary too but failed miserably. Nevertheless, enjoy reading it.

Keep it up the perseverance, like the preserved eggs you previously mentioned! :p

    1. Thanks Lyn! It is definitely really hard writing Money Diaries–I always have to reflect so hard on what I was running around doing all week! It’s crazy how much you forget you’ve done by the end of the week 😅
